I agree. A lot of them don't seem to appreciate how hard it was for those who came before them to break into the business. Some of them do know the history and can actually wrestle, but I think they realize that if they look good and dress a certain way they have a better chance of getting signed.

Since you like movies you might like a documentary I mentioned last year called Lipstick & Dynamite. It covered women's wrestling in the 1940's and 50's and showed how hard it was for them. The women interviewed said that they were disappointed in the product that is being put out today. They were also critical of the using of Moolah and Mae Young in recent years in the WWE.

I think the girls are the funniest to watch. It's really frustrating that a lot of them are only concerned and focused on how popular their looks make them, instead of their wrestling skills (or lack there of). Sure, glamorous, tight outfits and fake boobs can get you pretty far in show business... but I think they need to stop letting girls use the WWE as a stepping stone, and start hiring girls with both physical appeal AND talent. Like Mickey James and Beth Phoenix. Just a thought.

Oh yeah, I totally forgot about that. I haven't heard a ref warn a wrestler about the closed fist for a long time. Funny.
