A previous post talked about how Chavo Guerrero‘s bodyguard in ECW, named Bam Neely, used to wrestle in the Minneapolis area as Hellraiser Gutts and Hellfire, among other names. I had included a couple of screen captures from a match I had with him back in 2000.
Well, I ended putting that entire video up on YouTube (minus a few nips & tucks to get the video below the 10 min limit). You should be able to watch it below.
Awesome, I used to work with “Bam Neely” I did see him wrestle under the name Magnus Maximus in Steel Domain wrestling. I think it’s so cool that he made it to the WWE.
Nice how Maxi gave you a little pat on the cheek during the pin. Was that Lacey being the referee?
Hah! You weren’t supposed to see that ;-). That was the “hard camera” side with the stage and nobody was sitting there so I guess he thought he could get away with it.
Yes, that was Lacey as the referee.
Are you the same Doc DX that used to go to all the indy shows a few years ago? (maybe you still do, but I haven’t gone for a while).
Yeah, I’m that same doc d’X. I still go to shows, but not as many as I used to. Still write too, but much less frequently. They got other guys to write. A fond memory of Dr. Darin Davis is one day at camp you were blocking out a 10 minute draw with Morgan P.R. Eddie Sharkey said: “You know, it doesn’t have to be 10 minutes, it can be 9 minutes, it can be 8 minutes.” Ah, wrestling. I still have the autographed glove you sold me.
Where is his partner Blood?
Was he really related to him and if so how?
Why doesnt he ever aknowledge his ex partner, I still believe they were one of the best tag teams in the world and blood was the best entertainer in the business!
